Gingerbread cookies with honey

That’s why today… we launch a new section on our networks! And we show you some delicious dishes that you can make with honey at home.

We started with a scrumptious dessert: honey gingerbread cookies. Grab a pencil and paper and go for a snack this afternoon:

INGREDIENTS:

  • Cake flour 225 g
  • Sugar 100 g
  • Baking powder (2 teaspoons) 8 g
  • Baking soda (2 teaspoons) 12 g
  • Salt 4 g
  • Ground ginger 1 teaspoon
  • Ground cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon
  • Unsalted butter 100 g
  • Tesela Oak Honey 100 g
  • Extra sugar for battering (optional)

PREPARATION:

Preheat the oven to 180ºC and prepare a couple of trays by lining them with parchment paper. Add the cake flour in a large bowl and mix with the sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, ginger and cinnamon.

Add the butter cut into small cubes and work the dough, flattening it. Add the Tesela Oak Honey and mix everything.

Now we take small portions of dough, and we form balls with our hands. Coat each one in sugar and place them on the trays. Smash each ball gently with a fork and bake for 10 minutes.
